Who Is Jesus
Jesus of Nazareth was an itinerant preacher who fought against religion, taught about subversive grace and modeled radical love. His message from 2000 years ago to people then is applicable to real life today.
The Jesus Message
We are all screwed up. Maybe some people more than others, but we all have our short comings and failings. When we get real with ourselves about the fact that we are screwed up, we begin to realize we need forgiveness and grace.
God knows people are screwed up. That’s why God sent Jesus into the world. In three short years, Jesus started a revolution that has spanned more than two millennia.
Jesus’ message is simple to understand, yet hard to do: turn away from your screwed up life so you can receive God’s grace and follow Jesus in loving God and loving people.
What We Believe
We believe Jesus is the Son of the Living God, born of a virgin, performed miracles and healed people, died on a cross, buried in a tomb, raised to life after three days, ascended into heaven where he sits at God’s right hand and one day will return to earth in all glory and splendor to end time and usher in a new era of eternal life for all who believed.
